The Obama Coincidences

There’s been a lot of debate over President Obama’s feelings about the job he holds. Some theorize he really doesn’t like being president while others think he’s having the time of his life. I tend to lean toward the latter as it appears the head of the executive branch is taking every opportunity he can to have a good laugh in private.

There have been a number of odd little occurrences. Giving Britain back a bust of Churchill; bowing to the Saudi King; sending Netanyahu and the Dali Lama out the back way; giving Queen Elizabeth II an iPod full of his speeches and audio books; and I’m sure a few other events I’m forgetting.

Now just the other day the president decides, hey, let’s celebrate Hanukkah early and instead of lighting one candle a day per tradition, let’s just light them all now and then party down!

I’m not saying Obama doesn’t like the Jews, but I’m not not saying it either.

But the pièce de résistance is something caught by The Blaze and brought to my attention by Twitter buddy @Robert23Hersey. Obama gave a rather anti-capitalist speech this past week in a city called Osawatomie, Kansas. Ever heard of it? I hadn’t, and it’s rare that the president makes a speech in a city I haven’t heard of. It can happen. You research demographics and maybe say this would be a good place to get some exposure leading up to 2012. Who knows, maybe.

But the name Osawatomie does indeed ring the bells of some more literate in the history of the Weather Underground:

That’s right ladies and germs, “Osawatomie” was the name of the Weather Underground’s publication.

Folks, we’re a long way past laughing these things off as coincidences. Obama is have a laugh, and he’s laughing at us.

Summer Of ’68 Redux?

It’s all go today. I pop up the Drudge Report to find the country coming apart at the seams and the political left turning up the rhetoric:

Obama rallies Blacks and Latinos for 2010 electoral upset.

Sharpton brings his rent-a-thug service to Arizona.

Sting declares “we want big government” and that he’s starting a real tea party movement…green tea, that is.

Harry Reid calls Obamacare the most important thing we’ve done for the country and the world.

NSA Advisor tells joke about greedy Jews.

Are we headed for a updated version of the Summer of Hate? Is the Iraqi MSM ready to declare the United States is in a civil war?

HEH! British Paper Claims Ahmadinejad Really Jewish

As they say at Hot Air, “too good to check.” Could be true, or it could be something from the Mossad’s bag of tricks. Either way, gave me a huge laugh when I heard it this morning and I hope the story has some serious legs and this guy is driven even further into madness.

Kind of like someone else we know who may or may not have had a similar issue…

How To Stop Worrying And Love The Iranian Bomb

Well, the sourcing is a little suspect at the moment but Israel’s Army Radio is reporting that Vice Presidential candidate Joe Biden has told Israeli officials in closed quarters that they need to get used to the idea of a nuclear Iran. I would bet that’s true, but I would also bet dollar to donuts that he’ll deny it. Either way, how any American Jew can support the Obama ticket I’ll never understand.

Punditry Is Dead: Pat Buchanan Edition

I’ve given him the benefit of the doubt for years, but there’s just no doubt in my mind anymore that Pat Buchanan is an anti-Semite. If his recent book, claiming WWII was unnecessary, wasn’t bad enough, he’s now trying to tell us that Iran doesn’t want war and hasn’t had one since their Islamic Revolution. I guess Pat missed the 1980s when they went at it with Saddam Hussein’s Iraq. Fact are stubborn things when you’re trying to put the blame on Israel and its influence on America. Why do people still listen to this guy?

Daily Kos Celebrates 60 Years Of Hating Israel

Okay, the Daily Kos has only been around a few years, but anti-Semitism has been around for many moons. There was once a day when those on the so-called “right wing” were the anti-Semites, but no longer. The Left has a near total monopoly on Jew hatred. It astonishes me that any Jew in America can vote for the Democrats (sans the self-hating Jews).
